The origin of the Association of Friends of the Priory
After the completion of the restoration of the accesses and surroundings, the decision was made to bring the chapel back to life and implement a comprehensive project to revive the site. A working group was formed in 2003, and the Friends of the Priory of Bray Association was founded in 2004. The restoration project developed by architects Thomas Gaudig, Perrine Leclerc, and Guillaume Moine was approved by the DRAC Picardie in 2005. Restoration work began immediately. It progressed fairly quickly, and ten years later, the exterior and interior of the chapel were fully restored. The "Friends of the Priory" committed to providing logistical and technical support for the transformation of the site, to implementing actions to promote, open up, and promote the site, and thus to make this long-term project possible.
